Photographers who have inspired my recent practice.

 This video is a critique of Olga Karlovac's work. The photographer who looks at her work does a deep analysis of her style, technical range and what motivates her work. This video was very useful as a tool to refer too to deconstruct her work and replicate it.

Another YouTube video which helped me explore slow exposure photography in a urban setting was that of Alexey Titarenko. A Russian photographer who captures the decline and void of individualism world of the former Soviet Union in the 80s. His work continues to use the same themes of capturing ghostly crowds of people walking through the city.

 In deciding what photographic style to use, I have decided to concentrate on Intentional Camera Movement as a technical style. Also, I wish to use slow exposure. Both these will be used outside-street photography.  1. The influence of ICM came from a photographer called Olga Karlovac from Croatia. Her work shows urban landscapes which are shot in black and white and use camera shake to give an abstract view. She disagrees with the view that only crisp and clear images are good enough to make it in exhibitions. Her work is abstract and is a representation of how she is feeling.  This form of photography can be used anywhere from landscape photography to portraits. 2.
